Megan Murray - Woman in the Workplace

Megan Murray is a dedicated advocate for early childhood education with a career spanning over two decades in the field. Megan's journey began as a preschool teacher, leading her to various roles including Director of a local childcare facility. In April 2023, Megan transitioned to her current role as Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator for Kids Win Missouri, following a transformative year as a Provider Leader Fellow with the organization. Her commitment to statewide advocacy has propelled Kids Win's relevance in regions previously underserved, notably in the northwest, where she spearheaded advocacy efforts. She leads the state's Child Care Coalition, comprising 120 members focused on legislative enhancements. Beyond her professional endeavors, Megan’s commitment to local volunteering is evident through her active participation in the Junior League and P.E.O. Chapter EE. Her efforts include supporting initiatives like Second Harvest, Gift Wrapping, Hope Totes, and Cinderella's Closet, where she has been elected as the new Director. Additionally, her rapid rise to Vice President within P.E.O. showcases her dedication and leadership. Her journey exemplifies the transformative power of passion and leadership making an impact.
