LeeAnn Leonard - Y Woman of Merit
LeeAnn Leonard boasts an impressive career spanning 33 years in the financial industry, with her expertise firmly rooted in St. Joseph since 1995. She has been a dedicated Financial Advisor at Stifel since 2013, currently serving as the Branch Manager of the local office, which manages assets totaling $1 billion.
Beyond her professional achievements, LeeAnn is a committed community leader and active volunteer. She is a past president and current Sustainer of the Junior League of St. Joseph and a past president and active member of the Optimist Club of St. Joseph. She presently presides over the Library Foundation Board of Directors and serves on the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee. Her extensive community involvement includes past service on the Children’s Advocacy Board, Optimist Board, Junior League Board, St. Paul UMC Board of Trustees, Pony Express Baseball Board, and multiple terms on the YWCA Board.
LeeAnn became involved with the YWCA as a member of the Board of Directors in 2010 and served until 2016. LeeAnn’s Board of Directors peers state she was a strong and reliable Board member, sharing her knowledge and expertise in the financial field to ensure the YWCA was going in a sound financial direction. She believed it was important for Board members to be involved and serve the YW where opportunities were presented. Her involvement with the YWCA extended to the Annual Women of Excellence Luncheon where she served for two years on the steering committee and committed several years as a Table Captain. Her hands-on contributions to the YWCA Shelter and Bliss Manor through Junior League projects underscore her dedication to local causes.
In her personal life, LeeAnn has been happily married to her college sweetheart, Jeff, for 32 years, and they have two adult sons, Alex and Aiden. She enjoys crafting, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. LeeAnn and her family are active members of Renovation Church in St. Joseph.
