Alisha Gupta - Future Leader

Alisha Gupta has made a significant impact both at Central High School and in the community. A highly decorated four-year varsity tennis player, Alisha has led her team in the #1 Singles position and as Team Captain. Additionally, she contributes her talents as a mentor and coach for the boys' tennis team and organizes practice sessions. Alisha's leadership extends to academics and extracurricular activities. She has excelled and earned honors in Speech and Debate, FBLA, DECA, NHS, Student Government, and the Student Equity Council, all while remaining among the top of her class academically. Alisha's commitment to her community includes her founding of "Tennis for Success," a youth summer program designed to introduce kids to tennis and promote positive life skills. This initiative earned her the prestigious News-Press NOW's "20 Who Count" recognition. Additionally, she has volunteered with Mosaic and the Youth Alliance, and serves on the school's Leadership Symposium, focusing on mental health and substance abuse issues. In every aspect of her life, Alisha demonstrates dedication, leadership, and a desire to make a positive impact.
